Introduction
Service Introduction
Disputes in China present procedural and practical challenges that differ significantly from common law systems. Evidence rules, court filing standards, asset preservation, service, hearings and enforcement all require local execution. A strong legal position can lose value if the strategy is not designed around procedure, timing and collectability.
We advise claimants and respondents in China-related commercial disputes, including contract disputes, unpaid receivables, supply chain disputes, shareholder conflicts, licensing disputes and enforcement matters. Our approach begins with a practical merits and recovery assessment: what can be claimed, where the matter should be filed, whether assets can be preserved, what evidence is needed and what outcome is commercially realistic.
We keep overseas clients informed in clear English throughout the matter, including written case assessments, procedural updates, hearing summaries and settlement recommendations.

Case Study
Debt Recovery - Overseas Distributor and Guangdong Manufacturer
An overseas electronics distributor sought recovery of unpaid sums from a Guangdong manufacturer after a cancelled production arrangement. The matter required rapid assessment of contractual evidence, debtor assets and the feasibility of interim measures.
The legal strategy combined demand escalation, preservation analysis, dispute filing preparation and settlement negotiation. The objective was not merely to obtain a favourable legal decision, but to convert legal leverage into actual payment.
